Weekly Photo Challenge – Joy

What could be more wonderful than the first time you get to play in the snow? We live in an area of Britain that gets very little snowfall, and the little we do get rarely settles and melts soon afterwards. Early this year my little boy Rafael got his first taste (quite literally) of a thick carpet of the wonderful white stuff, when we took him out to the forest to see what winter fun was really all about.

The photo below is terrible quality I know, but despite the fuzziness and poor focus of this shot the absolute joy of a little boy having the time of his life shines through, and gives me a lasting and wonderful memory that I will treasure all my life. 🙂

  1. Looks like he’s having a great time!
We haven’t seen a single flake of snow yet – though Cornwall is the last place it’s ever going to snow on the mainland, I suppose.
